Atlas of the Universe
In a small Romanian village lives 10-year-old Filip, who dreams of a career as a soccer star. However, there is one major obstacle standing in the way of his dreams: it’s hard to play in worn-out shoes. With money from his mother, Filip sets off with his father to the city to buy new shoes. On the way, his father stops to hang out with a friend, so the determined boy continues on his own. There’s a big shock at the store when the shoe box reveals two right-foot shoes. Disappointment turns to hope when the shoe salesman explains that another identical pair has been sold to a distant village. So there might be a boy there with two left-foot shoes. If the boys find each other, they could swap shoes. Filip doesn’t waste any time but immediately sets off on a long journey full of surprises.
