U Are the Universe
Andri, a Ukrainian, transports radioactive nuclear waste to Callisto, one of Jupiter’s moons. On his four-year-long work trips, he is accompanied by a robot named Maxim, who entertains him with bad jokes. For Andri, space travel is routine, but nothing could have prepared him for the Earth exploding. Andri becomes the only human in the universe—until Catherine, a French meteorologist, contacts him from a distant space station in Saturn’s orbit. Andri decides to risk everything and set course for Catherine in his ship, which is on the verge of falling apart.
