20th ANNIVERSARY SCREENING | VALO

Valo is a story about children's courage, ingenuity, and friendship. Nine-year-old Valo and his friends Ville, Julia, Viktoria, and Raija establish their own school for children in the small village of Viiritsa. The official school has been closed down on the grounds that a female teacher was inciting rebellion by reading David Copperfield to the children. Not all adults approve of the children's activities and decide to shut down the school. However, the children are not going to give up.
