B.O.Y. – BRUISES OF YESTERDAY

The taciturn 16-year-old Tobias is forced to spend his summer in a remote village on the Danish coast with his grandparents when his mother disappears again to pursue her own interests. Lonely skateboarding trips and quiet evenings mark the beginning of a summer that could change everything or break Tobias for good.

Life at his grandparents' house is precarious: his grandmother is ill, his grandfather is responsible for both the family and the business, and Tobias finds himself distant from his parents' lives, invisible and alone. When Aron, who is older than him, enters the picture, Tobias finds himself in the midst of emotions he cannot control: should he dare to open his heart or continue to run away?
