SPRING

It's autumn, and Arno is starting a new school year with the rest of the kids. He's a conscientious and well-behaved schoolboy who is also popular with the teachers. There's never a dull moment at school when the boys in the class are around. Toots comes up with all kinds of pranks to mess with his classmates and teachers, someone sinks a raft, and the ice breaks while skating. However, the highlights of Arno's school days are the walks he takes with Teele, a beautiful girl who lives next door. In the winter, a new student named Imelik joins the class. He plays the kantele so skillfully that he completely charms all the girls in the class, including Teele. When spring arrives and it's time for new beginnings, Arno also has to think about what he wants to hold on to.
