After living in her grandmother's house, Noée moves to an island to live with her mother, who works in a harbour restaurant. One day on a bike ride, Noée spots children sailing and wants to try it herself. But sailing is very costly and her mother can't afford the expense. She tries her best to find ways to practice for the upcoming sailing competition. Just when she is about to lose hope, she runs into someone who will change her life.
