Uno and his 8-year-old daughter Denise are sitting in the car one particularly wintry evening. But something is wrong: it shouldn't be snowing in the current weather conditions. Uno is on the verge of solving a great mystery. He is a member of UFO Sweden, a group trying to prove the existence of UFOs. Uno sets out to test a theory he has developed.

Then he disappears without a trace.

Eight years later, not much has changed. The UFO Sweden group is still regarded as a crazy tinfoil hat group, but their activities have reached a dead end after a member disappeared, taking his answers with him. Denise has grown into a brash young woman determined to find out exactly what happened to her father. One day, when her father's red Saab crashes through the roof of a barn without a driver, Denise contacts the Ufo Sweden gang. The law, the risk of death, or even the threat to friendships are not enough to stop Denise in her quest to find her father.
