The Black Belt

Maude wants a black belt. She is only 13 years old, the youngest black belt aspirant in her karate club. However, Maude is fully dedicated, going all out with everything she has learned so far to move to an even higher level. Setbacks cannot dissuade the young woman. Training continues even when she does household chores, and she heads to the karate hall more and more often as the pace of training intensifies. It is quite clear that the mind is a force stronger even than the body, and the holder of the black belt must master it in order to pass the final exam with honours.
