RAP AND REINDEER
18-year-old Mihkku from Utsjoki dreams of a career in rap music. Traditional Sámi reindeer husbandry is combined with a more global culture when Mihkku considers his possibilities. He is looking for his own way, like young people everywhere. His dreams also lead to the Talent Finland competition, which as an experience gives more reason for reflection. Making music is a great asset, but is it a future career and will his heart eventually lead him back to Sápmi? In the documentary, a beautiful depiction of the natural cycle is accompanied by Northern Sámi rap.
