The indigenous Australian teenager Murra suffers from a strained relationship with her alcoholic mother Grace. Murra’s uncle Ian decides to send the girl to a youth photography trip, where the teens taking part must give up their phones and use film cameras to record stories of their journey. Alongside the other youths and the two supervisors, Fernando and Mitch, Murra embarks on a life-altering trip.
