School-age Bragi makes a drum kit of home accessories. His mom isn’t too excited about him banging the drums and would rather he play football instead. Bragi doesn’t care about school; all he wants to do is to play the drums. When a boy named Freyr who plays fretless bass moves in next door for the summer, the world is in for some revolutionary music. But the summer seems to go too quickly, and Bragi’s new bandmate with it.
